Accessibility statement

Palacký University Olomouc is committed to making its digital services accessible in line with Act No. 99/2019 Coll., on accessibility, and with EU directive 2016/2102.

Scope

This statement applies to the Scientific Compass UP web portal.

Conformance status

The portal is built to meet level AA of the WCAG 2.1 standard. Conformance is checked continuously during development and before each deployment.

Known non-accessible content

One deviation found during review is still open: for the portal's development addresses (paths beginning with /dev/, which nothing links to) the “not found” page renders empty and with no declared page language. Ordinary pages are unaffected and a fix is planned. The other areas reviewed — keyboard operation, colour contrast, reduced motion, small-screen layout and 200 % zoom — showed no deviations.

Settings the portal offers

The portal itself offers two settings that support accessibility: a choice of text size (100 / 112 / 125 %) that enlarges the text along with the whole interface, and a choice of light or dark appearance. Both are in the display settings in the page header.
